Surface: Mystery of Another World Collector's Edition Game Tips & Hints:
- This game has 4 chapters, with story or task scenes, hidden object scenes and mini-games.
- In story scenes you select objects to use in tasks immediately, or to store in the Inventory for later use.
- Click on an area of the screen when sparkles appear there, to explore or trigger something.
- In hidden object scenes the names of items to find are listed across the bottom of the screen. Names in white need an extra step to find them.
- Completing a hidden object scene earns you more inventory items.
- The Inventory panel is displayed across the bottom of the screen when needed. Items stay in the panel until they are used. To display the panel if it is not visible, move the cursor across the bottom the screen. Click on an item to use it.
- In mini-games, click the Info button for instructions. Click the Reset button to start again and click the Skip button to skip a game.
- Hints are unlimited in all scenes, but you may need to wait for the Hint button to refill.
- The Journal shows story notes, collected as you progress through scenes and videos for you to replay.
- On the Journal Map: emeralds show your current location, question marks show areas to explore and you can jump to a previously visited location by clicking on it.
- The game is not linear. You may need to revisit scenes and locations to complete tasks.
