I have to say as much as I like the previous Drawn games, and I really like them, I think Trail of Shadows is even better. The game is visually stunning with beautiful graphics, the voice acting is well done and the gameplay is good. You don't have to have played the previous games to enjoy this one. Drawn: Trail of Shadows Game Tips & Hints:
- This game has 4 chapters.
- Read the letters and notes as you go. They have information about the story and how to play the game.
- Click Objective at the bottom left of the screen, and then click the displayed objective name to see more details about a current objective.
- The cursor changes shape when you move it around the screen: a Hand means pick up an item, a Magnifying Glass means explore an area or pick up an item.
Items you collect are stored in the Inventory Tray along the bottom of the screen. - Click Lock at the bottom right of the screen and set it to Lock position to display the tray permanently, or Unlock and then move the cursor over the area to display the Tray when you need to use it.
- When you see a jigsaw piece, place an Inventory Item at that spot.
- Use the Sketches in your Inventory to unlock areas as you move through the game.
- Some Inventory items are used when you collect them, others are used later.
- When the Inventory Tray is full, use the arrows to scroll through all the items in it.
- Open the Storybook by clicking the picture of the book and using a key later in the game. The Storybook has puzzles to complete.
- There are several Hogs for you to find, some in the storybook and others on story screens. The Hogs are for fun and don't affect your progress in the game.
- When you've finished the game, Chapter Select appears on the Main Menu. Click to replay any chapter, without replaying the whole game.
