Haunted Halls: Fears from Childhood Game Tips & Hints:
- This game has 7 chapters, with hidden object scenes, story scenes and puzzles.
- In story scenes you pick up objects and carry out actions or tasks. Objects collected in one scene may not be needed until later and are stored in the Inventory area across the bottom of the screen.
- Items stay in the Inventory until they are used or no longer needed.
- When the Inventory is full, use the left and right arrows to scroll through all the items in it.
- Hidden object scenes are triggered by completing a task in a story scene. The names of objects you need to find are listed across the bottom of the screen. Some objects cannot be seen until another object has been moved or an action taken.
- The game is not linear, so hidden object scenes and puzzles may be different depending on the choices you make during the game and if you play the game more than once.
- The Hint button is available in hidden object and story scenes. Hints are unlimited but you must wait for the button to recharge.
- You can skip a puzzle once the Skip button has recharged. Most puzzles have a reset button.
- The Notes button at the bottom left of the screen summarises story information you've found so far, and gives details about current tasks.
